Vanuatu Investment Migration Bureau (VIMB Services Ltd) - SCAM ALERT

of course he's lurking here daily šŸ˜†
Here is his post (he blocked all links from "untrusted" sites like this forum, TrustPilot etc):

offshorecorptalk scam.jpg

Which directly contradicts his claims that OffshoreCorpTalk is not a scam, at the contrary, it helps people to avoid scams 🤣

They have published a new AD: https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/th...ficial-government-programs.49876/#post-378613 (as usual you need to paste the url into a private browser)

Here are the classic scam red flags:

- Minimal documentation: of course, as they sell you fake docs they don't need any documentation. Whatever they ask is just for giving an impression of legitimacy.
- Flexible eligibility criteria: which means that everybody can obtain a fake doc, obviously.
- Minor criminal records may be acceptable: be assured that even "major criminal records" can be accepted, perhaps for an additional fee.
- Name change options available: who cares about what you print on a fake document? You want a passport in the name of Mickey Mouse? No problem.
- Direct government liaison access: sure, Andrew from Vanuatu talks to EU ministries on a daily basis.

Worry not, if you are missing something the Indian guy they hire on fiverr will Photoshop everything:
  • Document preparation and structuring
  • Police clearances and medicals (if required)
  • Passport and ID support
  • Source of funds and asset documentation
  • Bank statement collation
  • Application submission and government liaison

I’ve asked this before, probably, but I either never got a good answer or I didn’t understand the answer I got. Let’s pretend that someone gets a legitimate Guinea-Bissau citizenship and passport. Now what? What do you do with it aside from easier access to West Africa in the case you have business interests there? You can’t travel easily with it. What kind of bank is going to open an account for a white man with a Guinea-Bissau passport? Is there some kind of criminal or money laundering use that I am missing? The whole thing seems like it would just bring more heat than it shields you from.

You cannot get a legitimate Guinea Bissau passport, period.
You might convince some bank to open an account with it, you never know, social skills and money can open doors. But at that point, much better to buy a good replica from a reputable country, at a fraction of the price, and every bank will gladly accept you.

Treat it like a hypothetical thought experiment. If you did get one, what could you do with it? What benefit would it provide?

You might be able to use it to cross some African border (I know people who have used much worse things or nothing at all) and to open a bank account in Africa. Being black would help.
It is also a nice addition to your collection of passports, if you are into this hobby. Your neighbor/friend/girlfriend might be impressed.

You can get a diplomatic passport from GB, unfortunately it’s not a real appointment.
Real diplomatic appointments require a minimum commitment of $200k, and involve meeting with real government officers etc.
Sometimes even then it is a fake.

I think in this situation it is even less than that. Possible he’ll just disappear with the payment and not even provide fake documents.

Is the country that bad? Any investment organization that can help maybe? Not much on Google either.
AFSIC, IFAD, UNDP?

At least, you would hopefully get something for your investment.

Any idea who can help? Câmara de Comércio, Indústria, Agricultura e Serviços da Guiné-Bissau, National Investment Agency or Export Promotion Agency maybe? @Paratore, @jafo any ideas?

Probably better off to go for Benin’s Afro-Descendent program. It’s not a diplomatic passport but you’re only out $100, the cost of a DNA test and documents, and a flight to Cotonou in exchange for an ECOWAS passport. I’m still not sure it’s worth the cost, but the program seems about as legitimate as an African program can get.

NGL, but besides the citizens of the African continent I meet when I go to Yiwu, I have zero knowledge of Africa. I do some business with some people on the African continent, but they are white people, Dutch and English in Zuid Afrika (South Africa) and Germans in Namibia and we speak either English or Afrikaans (kind of like Dutch, so we can understand each other) or German with those living in Namibia.

I wished I could be of further help. This is so far outside my circle of competence...it's NOT even in the same galaxy! What I can tell you is that if I show up with a Guiné-Bissau passport anywhere near a bank in the West, I'm getting my *ss arrested for sure 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 My name ALONE is a DEAD GIVEAWAY that I have ZERO connections to the African Continent. I'm so f*cking fried if I even tried that :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

This might be a thing, but I don't feel comfortable flying to Africa alone on this mission.

Cotonou is…ok. For West Africa. I’m tempted
to pursue this to see what comes of it. I have a qualifying document chain. I’ll be in the region again later this year. I don’t mind losing the $100 even if it ends up not becoming anything. I don’t mind flying to Benin since I’ll be in the area. What I don’t like is the idea of giving documents with my PII to a government employee anywhere in West Africa. I’m also not convinced that Beninese citizenship and a passport will enrich my life in any way. It might even cause problems.

Can you tell more of this program?
Aren’t we all of African descent?
