Tax residence Italy, why

Most cantons will take the $100K in‍ a second if you are European. I'll explain why...

Take, for example, someone with a net worth of CHF10M. The most they'll pay is ~CHF 40K/year in Paradiso, TI, assuming⁤ they stop working (no income) and only do a SWR of only 2% from their⁣ (after-tax) savings.

If Paradiso, Ticino, CH accept the "Imposizione secondo il dispendio" they'll get 2½ times what they︁ would normally get. Why would they NOT take it? 🙄

That's how a lot of people︂ "I know" do it. 😉

For example:

😉 It's totally worth it for both sides and the︃ beneficiary of the Paradiso residency can engage in other income-producing activities. A person with a︄ net worth of +CHF 1M knows how to make money... I would dare to say︅ that someone with CHF +½M (liquid) also knows how to create value/income. 😉

PS. There are︆ apartments with roommates for CHF 650/per month. Some for even less. thu&¤#

yah i understand your calc and also agree with it, so do i︃ understand your post correctly you know people who got this for 100k recently?
it would︄ be simply appealing bc you can then legally not disclose all of your holdings which︅ prove to be privacy clusterduck.

i mean this is not public and i have my︆ sus i would have been taken for a ride (quotes i got to settle for︇ by the lawyer gang were about 200-300k) and the place in question was a way︈ shittier location than the one you quoted.

The reasoning make sense, but have you ever found a Swiss public servant able to reason?
The forfait fiscale is a matter of bargaining, it is highly unlikely that 100k will be accepted. Usually the minimum is 200-300k, depending on your profile and on your bargaining skills.

Yes! A few personal friends, but with one caveat: They negotiated "out of" Monaco from a position of POWER and used that as leverage! Additionally, it's preferable to have⁤ a history with CH. Those who have had private banking can easily get a recommendation⁣ letter from their wealth management/private banks.

If you meet the above or can, in the⁢ future meet the above requirements, why not try? What do you have to lose? What︀ is CH going to do? Report you to Monaco? 🙄

Yeah, you get︃ this a lot with the lawyers involved. I've always realized this. A small percentage of︄ lawyers are real businessmen.

rof/% rof/% rof/% rof/% rof/% If we start with this,︆ we may not find them smi(&%
100% this! That's why︉ when it was first explained to me it was by an extremely savvy and well-dressed︊ Swiss/Italian man on Casino Square.
The strategy is to ALREADY be in Monaco *and* have︋ a history with Swiss private banks in CH and MC.

Not to convolute things and︌ to follow that man's directions to a T, I focused ONLY on getting the forfait︍ deal to be able to spend time in CH skying, hiking, and investing in Swiss︎ start-ups *WITHOUT* worrying about going over 90 days. That's it! No big talks. No bragging️ about money. No bragging about connections etc etc.

FOCUS = spending time in Switzerland skying,‌ hiking, vetting, and investing in Swiss start-ups. That's it! Simple concept.

That's the hurdle I‍ needed to get over and voilà! Got my forfait in less than 6 weeks. No questions asked 😳 No lawyers! No accountants! No third-parties. I just humbly showed up and was⁤ grateful to CH for having wealth management/private banks (Wegelin, BSI, etc) that helped me save⁣ "some" money and I wanted to return the favor.

Not all cantons are open to⁢ this...as I've been told (after the fact 🙄 ) by expensive/high fees "experts" although I have︀ NOT personally experienced this. Everyone was welcoming.

PS. I indeed do everything to avoid "public︁ servants" but I think I need to specify exactly which ones... Those with "arrest powers"︂ that run in packs. One-on-one, I laugh with them, but in large groups cry&¤ ... I︃ think this guy explains it much better than I ever could:

PSS. I never disclosed︄ to ANY of the lawyers, accountants, experts, etc. that I got the forfait without paying︅ them their exorbitant +CHF1M fees. Who knows what they are able & willing to do...︆ because...
