Stealth Wealth (Explained)

Stealth wealth has always been the way to go. In fact, I will get very embarrassed if I wear designer logos all over my body like a billboard. Though there are people who are confident enough being a walking billboards on public streets. For watches, I'll just buy one purposely as an appreciating asset. Just keep it in a safe and that's it. I only carry an Apple Watch.

Wealth is generally discreet in Europe, especially in Germany - lots of hidden German Billionaires. They could be your neighbor in a middle class suburb.

Loro Piana and Bottega Veneta are nowadays mainstream - most of the wannabe rich folks have them. If you wear them they will recognize.

I would rather wear Adidas pants, a white tank shirt and a Sheikh Zayed gold pendant.
Classy people have their own name/logo sewed on their clothes (in hidden places).

in Spain Zara will tailor the clothes to your shape for a fee but he takes them to a tailor

Something ive discovered over the years is that its not so much how much money you have but rather the access you have to places.
Dressing correctly will have certain people accept you into their circles and as a result you'll end up making money from/with them

Conversely, dressing like a clown will make people dont want to deal with you cause they'll lose face/status by being publicly related to you

For example; theres no way you enter Annabel's dressing like your standard American new money billboard, and I've gotten some of my heaviest clients from there.
Random chick introduces you to his friend, friend has money and access to Annabel's, he takes you there, introduces you to new people, etc, etc.

TLDR wealth is silent G and you want to mimic them when you aint wealth yet and u only rich cause they can smell your low class a*s from miles away.

I hear you, I totally understand it can cost one some opportunities and I respect people that genuinely enjoy classy appearance or use it as a part of their strategy
but I'm probably not born/raised for this and prefer success built on top of tangible value, edge in market and mutually beneficial personal trust

to each his own 😉

Exactly. One of the first books about investing that I ever read was 'The Millionaire next door'. An old English saying is 'Expensive car on the drive, nowt in the freezer!' 🙂

Same as POC! In Latin America and the USA, the people who consume most of the luxury brands are POC (Latinos, Asians, African descendants, Arab descendants, etc..).
If you are older, you can juxtapose how Larry Bird spent his dough vs. the "other" NBA players.

I've been trying to study this phenomenon for decades. One out of thousands of examples: I knew a hot Colombian model in Panama who would buy an iPhone instead of sending money to her mother (the grandmother) in Colombia, who was caring for her little son. stupi#21 stupi#21 stupi#21

One in Madrid: A Brazilian model sent money to her brother, who was staying at her apartment because he had no money for his own apartment. He was jobless, illegal, and not searching for a job. So, he took her rent money and bought luxury clothes instead of paying the rent for the place he was living in. stupi#21 stupi#21 stupi#21

I have way too many of these stories.... hi%#
As soon as I see this, I dash! Escape that sinking ship, and no matter what, I do NOT lend them or give them ANY money! Hence, why I use burner phones. I'll throw that number out right away! dev56""" rof/%

Black American culture is ghetto so very unlikely to find one AA that absolutely doesn't buy designer monograms and logos and thinks it's meaningless and a waste of money.

Middle Eastern Arabs are born extremely materialistic. It's in their blood to flex as much as possible.

Idk about Latinos (in USA) but I think it's because they're influenced by Black American culture or simply because they came from poor families (from an economically poor country) so they buy to feel what's like to be rich. The same applies to North Africans and Black Africans and even East Europeans

And like @FiscalFanatic said Asians love European brands cuz it's exotic and considered luxury if it's from Europe so you can imagine what European luxury designer are to them.
Asian countries have atrocious car taxes when you import one into the country since the government knows that cars from Europe are a luxury in Asia. They know most Asians are ready to pay this crazy tax.

And you have 4 million Chinese at least believe this bulls**t
One of them, Wang Hongquan, had claimed that he owned seven properties in Beijing, the Chinese capital, and that he never left the house in an outfit worth less than 10 million yuan ($1.38 million).

If he says outfit I assume it is what he can wear on his small chinese body right? the car does not count! How the hell should he be able to wear all this. The world want to be deceiveddoh948""

Same EXACT behavior and attitude in Latin America! 100% the SAME thing. Maybe even worse! Been going there clapping Latina cheeks since the 80s.

The natives of colonized countries, including but not limited to islands, also behave the SAME way! Don't ask me why... 🙄
