Please let us know what banks open accounts for you in the future, so we know what banks to avoid. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing.
Of course, I will immediately send a copy of the permit to all the banks I use and contribute to make the great West Russia-free thu&¤#Frankie said:

I talked with the lawyer you mentioned. You need to go as a tourist and apply inside Russia, right?

You don't really need one if you can speak basic Russian and are willing to put some effort into the process.
I'm not getting a lot of answers from the one you mentioned and I need to clarify something in regards to the apostille. My country only does it digitally now.JohnnyDoe said:

I will update on my experience once I'm in Russia, I'm currently making arrangements to my schedule.

Correction: you need to go with a specific visa issued on the basis of your intention to apply for a permit.Clank said:

You already are, virtually
Just got confirmation that I can print the digital document from the government and apostille them. The apostille needs to be physical but the birth certificate / criminal record can be digital and later printed.
I'm waiting for an answer from the consulate of my country of residence as they seem to never check the email / answer.JohnnyDoe said:

You need to contact the consular section of the embassy, usually better by phone.daniels27 said:
Ok, maybe then it is only the consulates. I emailed the embassy and they never responded.
