Personal credit cards?

Ok. I have to add two friends. Only makes sense if you travel very little‌ on oneworld but still want Sapphire status or you want AA miles.

Brazil AA‍ 5 miles per dollar spent

El Salvador 2 miles per dollar spent

You need 75k miles for Sapphire⁢ (AA: Platinum, BA: Silver and Gold otherwise) and 125k for Emerald (AA: Platinum Pro wtf,︀ BA: Gold and Platinum otherwise).

When 5x miles, you silly only have to spend 15k︁ for Sapphire but will list on bank fees etc. But could still be worth it︂ if you want to get a residency there.

Yes. Debit card. Better as you won't get credit there anyway. Costs 5000 KZT per month, is multi-currency and comes with 1 distinct⁤ IBAN per currency. But hey, we all like the country with camel milk.

I feel⁣ tempted to open it.

Not bad, in general (<10‌ USD).

Interesting. 3rd party payments‍ allowed (as it is connected to multi-currency account), I presume?
Plus free worldwide withdrawal up to 1000 USD per month and airport VIP Lounges.

🙂

any use case examples? you may post a thread inside mentor group gold if you don't want⁤ to post it here to reduce the number of views! I'm interested to learn som⁣ anonymous use cases for such US LLC's.

What is he referring to with "them"? I thought he was talking about the credit cards. Hence I posted quite a lot here. May post more in mentor good another time.⁤

Be advised that credit cards are never anonymous – and cannot be (I presume you would also need to know who, personally /any card has its user/, is owing you money⁤ 😉 )

For sure 🙂
@ilke speaks English well and definitely⁢ knows how to structure a complex sentence 😉

Too good to be true. None of the cards recommended here can be obtained by‌ anyone who does not live in the country where the card is issued. I have‍ been trying for 2 years to get a card with unlimited airport lounge access, no chance.
Unfortunately my bank Swissquote does not offer a VIP credit card, I can't even⁤ get the normal Swissquote credit card, only on the waiting list. It's hopeless. bor&%#

I can confirm that the cards from Kazakhstan can be obtained without residency. If you want a physical card, you may want to go there to pick⁤ it up.

Quite some US cards can be obtained without any residency requirements (all that⁣ accept ITIN). A local address is an advantage as most systems only work domestic. You⁢ may want to use some hotel to live.

Talking about credit cards and debit cards, I stumbled over this provider today,
offering Lao‌ sourced cards and offshore accounts and mentions crypto as well, all without any need to‍ visit the country.

The provider himself seems to be based in CZ, and looks a little dodgy for my own taste,
but I'll ask regardless: does anyone have experience with⁤ this one?

https://xexon.io/xexon-card/

UPDATE: I ran the domain through WHOIS and got some other 'gems'⁣ registered by the same LLC (not the CZ one), so I guess it's better to⁢ keep away.

Got down the rabbit hole and found something really interesting, even almost a bit too‌ good to be true.

But it seems real enough for me, and I am so‍ excited that I will actually skip new year celebrations, get on a plane, and visit the bank in person next week. I'll report back next weekend (I hope).

Really low⁤ fees, no CRS, easy to open the account with just with a passport copy and⁣ phone number, choice of visa / unionpay card, mobile app. It's a real bank that⁢ was established 35 years ago, and still going strong.

And the best part of their︀ offerings:

Seems like a rebranding of https://ultimopay.io/, exact same services and fees.

You are right, actually ultimopay.io looks much better than the other one I‌ found
https://wallet.octpass.net/.

After registering and a bit more investigation, the octpass option looks like‍ a scam, as both of their physical addresses seem fake, and the octpass name looks like a cheap play on the CN mainland Octopus payment card and app.

But I⁤ decided to skip the middlemen and head to the actual bank myself and check their⁣ offerings, as I prefer a card that I can actually use without any worries what⁢ could happen to the provider or my money two years down the line.

Going directly,︀ the cost of the card is just $20, plus $20 maintenance fee/year.
