Surely, someone could find out who he really is, right?

Is he the Dane, too?

I didn’t realize that he had a website. He filled a cheap WordPress template with random content and even the default blog wasn’t updated.

Why shouldn’t he get away with this? He’s scamming someone in a gray area business. If the victim knows nothing personal about him, how can they catch him? I doubt anyone will involve the police.

I suspect he’s the Dane. He protected himself with fake accounts in the thread, plans to keep this account quiet for a while, then delete all the accusations before starting again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dane eventually takes over the victim’s account to post a settlement notice.

Someone with some spare time could write to his “affiliated partners” (Kraken, Banking Circle, Visa…) and ask them if they know him and if he is authorized to use their names and logos.

He might be, but it’s not really important. All those still trying to do business on OffshoreCorpTalk are either scammers or desperate, to be avoided in any case.

A single email containing the appropriate wording is sufficient to have his page kicked. It’s just dealing with Namecheap, which serves as both the hosting provider and the domain registrar.

(though I have seen he has access to some account at the latter FI).

You receive these accounts from many cryptocurrency exchanges or money service businesses.
