If offshore bank account is BVI can that work?

I read that BVI banks are not considered offshore bank any longer, is it true?

True, forget about the BVI and banking if you don't have a local lawyer who can help you out there!

Actually the BVI company does not provide any sufficient privacy or asset protection any longer and there fore we recommend you to look into the Seychelles if privacy and asset protection matters, take as well a look at this link: Why Seychelles? - Blogs - Offshore Company Forum

Paypal don't accept offshore bank account

Hi All - there is a bank in the BVI that works well with Paypal! I know this because I lived in the BVI for a number of years. Opening an account in the BVI is no more challenging than opening an account anywhere else in the world. Personal accounts in the BVI are as open as a regular account offshore, however, an IBC corporate account offers reasonable privacy and confidentiality.
