Euro Pacific bank is a scam

Ah well, You know how banks are probably. Receiver had hard time finding‍ a bank that would even agree to take part in this case as far as I know. Not sure if that was the incompetence or the real issue with bank⁤ being too paranoid. From my own experience I am able to belive in the paranoid⁣ approach by the banks theory. I assume Axos is no different and they want fresh⁢ documents, EPB documents in many cases are probably outdated. Mine at least at this point︀ are in few aspects probably.

My preference was leaving the money at︀ Novo bank and figuring out how to have it wired from Novo directly to customers.︁ That would have been much quicker and easier, which is why the trustee didn't do︂ that.

If you only have your balance in EUR and they are asking for USD, what‌ to do ?, submit the amount in EUR anyway, or change the amount to USD‍ in todays exchange rate or at the exchange rate of June 2023 ?

I received
I received the email and sent back the documents. I asked for opt in but if i have an opportunity to opt out now and stop⁤ all this s**t I will do it .

It is required for customers unable to provide the documents so they can keep︀ the money. No documents = no money

Banks must maintain up to date KYC and information that is years old‍ is no good for KYC/AML purposes. Clients could be dead, jailed or other in that time.

Hmm strange thing, I asked Axos about possibility to open bank account with them as‌ thye are doing KYC/AML on us anyway and they answered me this

"
Good day,‍

Our role is solely to ensure the secure delivery of your documents to the trustee.

If you have any questions regarding your case, please reach out to the trustee at:⁤ [email protected].

You may also review the website which has additional information https://epbprliquidation.com/.

Thank you!"

Like there is no account for EPB case in Axos... Hmmm.... Will try to⁣ clarify it with them.

I have sent an email to the trustee with questions about providing the documents.
There has been NO response at all.

The two main questions are:
1) With KYC and‌ 'Proof of Address' documents, do they need to be translated to 'English'?

2) What is‍ 'Bank Statement Available', is it a Bank statement from my domicile bank, or from Euro Pacific Intl Bank Inc?

Can someone here help to clarify this please?

1) of course they have to be translated in english. From a certified translator. This‌ is common practice, so better do it from the beginning

2) I guess both EPB‍ and your refund account, to make sure its in your name

In the bank insolvencies I have personally experienced so‍ far, it has never been necessary. It was sufficient if the documents were in Latin letters.
But yeah, it can be different.
