🇺🇸🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 — United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announces the completion of the 8th wave of strikes against Iran
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed another round of strikes against Iran on July 18 at 11:30 p.m. ET, at the Commander in Chief's direction.

During the eighth consecutive night of U.S strikes, CENTCOM forces successfully hit Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities. American military assets also targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17.

More than 50,000 U.S. men and women in uniform are operating across the Middle East. They remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready.

🌲 - 🇱🇧🇮🇱🇱🇧 New details about the suspect, identified as Fouad Abdel Karim Khalifeh, reveal that he operated from within Hezbollah’s close social and family circles rather than from outside them.

Khalifeh from Qanareet, southern Lebanon, of the known Khalifeh clan, had direct family ties to senior Hezbollah commanders, including being related to the wife of former Radwan Unit commander Ibrahim Aqil.

He exploited those connections to gather intelligence on commanders, their movements, vehicles, residences and sensitive medical facilities before being exposed through suspicious digital communications.

🌲 - 🇱🇧🇮🇱🇱🇧 Lebanon's Internal Security Forces Information Branch confirms it arrested Fouad Khalifeh around two weeks ago, minutes before he attempted to leave Lebanon, following months of surveillance.

According to Lebanese security source, the operation was carried out entirely by Lebanese authorities without cooperation from any Arab security service.

Khalifeh is accused of providing Israel with intelligence on Hezbollah figures, monitoring the movements of individuals with security significance, and gathering information on patients wounded in the pager attacks through a hospital.

Khalifeh is the latest Shiite suspect accused of spying for Israel, following the arrests of Mohammad Saleh, and Ahmad Al-Mokhader.
