WU or MoneyGram money wires. Are they legit or all scams?

I always wondered if the people selling $1000 wire to you for only $100. are‌ some legit or all scams?

If someone can do this? Where does the ill gotten‍ money come from?

Could you elaborate your question, maybe it's just me in this case, but I don't‌ understand what is your point. If really someone asks you USD 100 promising to send‍ you USD 1000, do you really think it's not just a scam for example from⁠ Nigeria ?

They are sold on the dark net with⁤ positive feedback (could be faked) on silk road clones.

Thanks, 20 years ago⁠ there was a website selling counterfeit $100 on the open web also. I was a⁤ kid dreaming of buying it. 🙂

I have seen many use the carding tricks. But I do not know about the‌ wire transfers Western Union. It seems they steal it from big banks (who cares about‍ them) and wire it thru western union. In some countries, this is very good if⁠ legit source.

They don’t rob banks they have spyware installed on thousands of pcs called botnets and‌ prey on someone who’s already got wu account for example and do a MITM attack.‍

They always sell blocks of 1-2-3-4 thousand. Not typical amounts⁠ regular users send. And within hours they say

WU is usually a scam that gets the newbies.
But there is a hell of‌ a lot legit wire and tax fraud going on at the minute in UK.
