Wondering - exchange bitcoin to monero and back to bitcoin will it erase trails?

I was wondering if I exchange bitcoins to moneor and then back to a new wallet to bitcoins, will it erase all trailing and be anonymous that way?

You want to put it through some tumbler before you exchange it, that way you should be fine.

If you use 2 different exchanges for the 2 transactions, it should be OK.
