I'm thinking about registering a Seychelles company for my e-commerce business. I've found a crypto payment gateway that doesn't mind if it's a Seychelles company, and I've also figured out a way to convert crypto to fiat without any issues.

I plan to use the company as a front, registering it as something like ECommerce AG, so people get the impression it's a German or Swiss corporation, or at least a company with the credibility of an AG. I'll just use a mailing address in Germany, for example.

Is this a good idea if I'm aiming for credibility? I think it looks better to have a corporation in Germany rather than a UK LTD, right?

If you use words like "front" etc it maybe not a good idea to post in public section of forum. Although I understand the context in that you just want to have company giving public impression it is a Europe company it did not come across well.

In any case today Seychelles companies are still used. You clearly took the right steps in finding payment providers that will work with such companies before going ahead and forming one.

However I don't know if you looked at the full picture. Where are you resident and why do you want a Seychelles company also compared to other jurisdictions? Are you trying to save on taxes for example?

What's wrong with having a company at front end so it can't be in the public forums?

Taxes doesn't matter
Living in Switzerland the next 6 months, moving forward to another country.

Just wondering if it is secure to have a company in the Seychelles or if they can dissolve it because of my setup.

Pretty certain at some point the 180 day rule will transition to either 90 day rule or tax whilst you reside in the country 0 day rule

Just too much debt and too many people exploiting these options now

I answered that in first line.

Where are you gonna declare the place of operation for the Seychelles offshore company is when you incorporate it?

Isn't giving a German mailing address creating risks that German authorities may claim the company operated in Germany and is thus liable for German taxes?

What risks are there if not the German government what should stop you doing what you want?
