People are realizing that total privacy is great.
Perpetual low (1%) inflation might be better than extreme scarcity with a hard cap like btc. However, the two can coexist and complement each other.

Nuclear fusion is an interesting matter, but why go crazy with building an artificial reactor when we have a big, maintenance free one at just 1AU from us?
Getting rid of politicians is a much harder quest, I’m not optimistic on it within the next million years 😒
Bittersweet for me. I've been in Monero since 2017. Last April I decided to make the money work for me by swapping to & from Bitcoin on RetoSwap, gaining 2% or so each time.
XMR spiked within literally minutes of my first swap to BTC and I had to wait months for it to come down to previous levels. Then I swapped on RetoSwap back & forth for a couple of months and made good money for a side hustle.
Then XMR spiked again last October while I was holding BTC. Been waiting since then but the price is running away. I would be a truckload of dollars better off if I had just sat on my XMR without starting up that side hustle. Now I'm holding a big bag of Bitcoin which I'm not a big believer in anyway.

@WhoMe it’s nonsensical to measure crypto in fiat value. Just sell what you need when you need to spend it.

Yeah I get that. Most of my assets are out of fiat. But still, a truckload of dollars worth of XMR is a truckload of dollars 🤣
