What were your motives to go offshore?

If you have an offshore company or you are considering to open one I would like to know what were your motives to do that?

Most often tax reasons but also anonymity and securing assets. Many clients are running a‌ Internet business and they want privacy, means no public personal address on the website.

The reasons are many, but most often, privacy and anonymity. Another reason would be that it‍ is pretty easy to get a offshore company incorporated.

Indeed, and many are using a offshore company because of the same reason.
