Why would I not want to setup a Cyprus company with nominees to keep my name away from the public? Why would I want a UK company if it's that bad as you say?

great to know, but the average Joe wont have the money required to setup such banking? So we are back to the normal retail banks or not?

Yes your right. Unless you reach a threshold that the bank has for private banking relationships then its a no go. Most of us are stuck with one size fits all retail banks with no flexibility. damn_(

that's my problem can't find any retail bank that will work for me. Using EMI so far!
