Yes, that's one of the uses for it. You can do the same with Zcash and Dash. These are 3 the most known privacy coins.

I already have it and there's no point selling it atm. They have some issues and they are trying to resolve them hence the current price. Once they add shielded transaction support to Ledger it will bring back popularity to it IMO

XMR/USDT appears to have found a cycle bottom, however XMR/BTC indicates weakness, I believe it is a good store of value for privacy, however there should be little/no institutional adoption in the future
