US Business Banking for Non Resident with CAD services

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble finding a bank that will allow me to open a business account with a US LLC as a non-resident. On top of that I need to be able to either accept incoming CAD wires or deposit CAD checks.

Does anyone know of any options?

Have you looked at Wise? They can't do CAD checks but they support CAD and‌ can issue local Canadian account details.

There is a bank in Miami willing to open an account for foreign citizens with‌ US LLCs.

Do you know what bank? Can‍ it be done remotely?

Wise unfortunately won't allow incoming wires for CAD, only Direct Deposit and EFT which my⁣ clients aren't able to use. Niche situation I know.

I think you can look at⁠ other alternatives like Airwallex, maybe they can do CAD incoming wires

AirWallex actually does! I tried them last week‍ but unfortunately my business doesn't have enough US clients yet to be accepted.
