US bank account for LLC

Currently I am looking into getting US bank accounts for my LLCs. I have too much in my IBKR LLC accounts and don't like this.

If needed I will travel to the USA for this, but of course I prefer to do it remotely.

I saw Starthub has $29/momth accounts that will give me a proof of address.

With a proof of address in the USA are there any (regular) banks I can open remotely?

Only EIN, but I can get‌ an ITIN quite easily I believe.

With an ITIN any good options?

Getting an ITIN takes at least 4-6‌ weeks. Once you have it can be easier.

Alright, thanks for the info! I assume that even with‍ an ITIN proof of address in the USA will still be important right? Or can⁠ I use the address of the registered agent?

Usually they don't accept registered agent address.⁠

How did you top up your ibkr LLC account?
You need a business bank account for that.

If you can travel to Florida (this is the best bet), you can open a‍ bank account with not much hassle just walking into a bank branch. And no real⁠ proof of address is needed. Just have some at hand.

You can transfer from your personal IBKR to‍ your company IBKR if you link both accounts.

Not the other way around though.

I am in the process of creating a Schwab LLC account. I asked them if‌ I can get a Schwab bank account when registering. I think it should be possible‍ do this remotely.

I believe something as simple as https://starthubcenters.com/ and https://mercury.com/ should be enough. If Mercury rejects‌ you, then yeah it's another talk.

How did you open an account with Relay? I think⁠ they require a physical US address and perhaps a US phone number as well. I⁤ checked it long time ago, so I can't remember 100%
