UAE FZCO - IFZS update employment contract

I've got a quick question.

I need to update my employment contract (just revise the salary).

Should I just take my existing contract and revise the salary and effective date, and send that to IFZA, or do I need to do something else? Thanks!

I think you get an online form from IFZA and then you can update the‌ salary, right?

IFZA charges for that, they will give you a form to amend the contract.

I find it a‌ bit much that they want money for every “change”.

Welcome to Dubai. I wouldn't⁠ recommend doing business there, you're being nickeled and dimed for everything there. Which was fine⁤ when there was no tax, but for 9% tax, it's a joke.
