UAE FZ Co for Amazon.com FBA?

Hi all,

I'm hearing differing opinions on whether one can use a UAE FZ company for selling on Amazon (US marketplace). I've heard from someone that Amazon (.com specifically) wouldn't accept FZ companies applying, only Mainland UAE companies to sell on the US marketplace - can anyone either confirm or deny this please before I pull the trigger on a FZ company setup?

Saw that‌ but are there no issues on withholding? Personally have been selling on amazon.com for 6‍ years but for some reason have never seen a seller selling from a UAE FZ⁠ entity
