Hi i have a problem.
I have an uae company in free zone, this is my main company.
I have an llp in UK where partners are I and my company in uae.
Now I have residency still in my eu country.
For this I have more possibility to open stripe account or shopify payments.
But there is a problem
When I go to register stripe or shopify payments with my llp that I made with 1stformation they require me proof of home address, id check is ok with my passport but home address bill no.
How can I do this?
Without using fake bills?
Because the only want a UK proof, but I don't live in uk.
Thanks so much
I have revolut business, transferwise business and Paypal business in uk.

Sometime it's enough to show a bank statement (i.e. from Revolut or TransferWise) but if Stripes suspects you of being up to no good, they might insist on a utility bill or other proof that your company has operations in UK.

Alternatively, you can tell Stripe that the UK LLP is managed from your home and provide your home address as place of business.

Ultimately, your structure is not compliant with Stripe's terms and conditions, which are based on Visa and Mastercard regulations. When controlled by non-residents, UK LLPs are a huge red flag with compliance departments at banks and payment processors. Under the strictest interpretations of Visa and Mastercard regulations, you should form the payment company where you are resident or, if you have an office in UAE, partner with payment processor in UAE.

Unfortunately, stripe is not available in the Arab Emirates.
This is usually the case, I personally know people who have llp with my same structure or llc in delaware or wyoming
Thank you very much I'll try, otherwise how can I provide a bill?

You are right. Most people are using a LLP as a payment sub. Nothing wrong with that.

It cant be against any policies, people can ofcourse live in one country and run companies in other countries, its very normal.

Just send a fake utility bill, very easy.

Stripe can never validate where your residency is. Just take a normal utility bill and add your name on it or buy a template, you can find info on this forum.

Stripe UK may do a soft credit search, on you to see if you have any credit at that address.
