If you use a smaller registered agent I don't think you'd even have this issue. I could open mercury and stripe without any issues. Also their website is fully vibe coded and I think their $2k a year is quite pricey if you may end up sharing that address with others.

No problem with Mercury and Stripe, you can indicate your personal address as the physical place of business of the company.

Yes, terrible website and the price is quite high, but there must be someone willing to pay it?
 
The site is terrible but the price is relatively sensible if you are sharing that office or apartment with less than 5/10 companies.

It doesn't seem that worthwhile to just pay $2K without many trust signals or assurances in advance, though.
