fyi if anyone is seeking privacy by using a BVI company with US bank account‌ and you live in EU then you are wasting your time. BVI information is going‍ to be shared with UK which will pass it on to other EU states including⁠ J5 members.

We have not seen any indications that it will work like that.⁣ More probable is that there will be a public register similar to in HK etc,⁢ where information is public but you have to pay a fee to see each document.︀ So no automatic sending of information to the UK.

They are already sharing⁤ information with UK and with third countries request submitted via UK. This law just brings⁣ the crown dependencies and BOT's inline with UK registry setup with nothing more and nothing⁢ less. Any country can go on a fishing expedition in these BOT's and Crown Dependencies.︀
