Very likely TW has now started considering MT as an exchange and thus blocks transfers to/from it.

Sucks, similar to what PayPal did in the past I believe. They didn't accepted payments from other payment service providers and blocked accounts when they found out!

Agreed

MT's main activity has always been payment clearing for its crypto exchange - btc-exchange.com. They ARE basically just a crypto exchange who created MT to facilitate direct euro clearing of payments ns2. Sorry but this is same nonsense Leopay's owners did when they created satabank to facilitate direct euro clearing for the group. The story never ends well I am afraid. Almost certain MT is just another Russian laundromat on its way out 🙁.

Russians has trust problems. I had russian friend and he hate west so much. He said that western companies can't read russian names and giving headaches. This EMI almost certainly dedicated for Russian user base.

Questions need to be asked over the source of funding for all these Eastern European EMI's ns2. Follow the money and it will lead across the border into Russia. These EMI's are mostly Russian laundromat's and normal customers are just sideline business to the real activity. Most of the young people behind these EMI companies are simply smart but naive programmers who are happy to get their venture funded 🙁.

This one is true.

On one hand, this clearly shows it's the end for MT. They've been without a credit card provider for 2 months, and now you can't even send them money... On the other hand, I dislike TW more and more. You should be free to send your money to anyone anywhere. Makes me happy to have bitcoins...

Yeah. They have a central bank account in UK and free to allow users where to send money. At latest for UK, They should allow.

It's like writing "Don't pee here" in a wall but by nature more people tend to pee mostly in that places.

I hate it too but you can't tell anyone what to do - just start your own EMI and allow what they don't - you'll be rich.... or dead ;-)

You still need a bank account for EMI because Central banks not granted accounts for EMI's so far. TW got one but not sure about others.
Rich happen when receive a central bank account. There no one give f**k about anything.

There are is very larger risk for Visa and Mastercard.
Because they steal money from Visa and mastercard. This is like millions of dollars.

Settlement risk. This is very huge issue.

Unfortunately who you send money too is the decision of the private company called TW 🙁. As was mentioned if you don't agree with their policies you sadly have to move on from their platform offering no matter how frustrating it is 🙁.
