Someone told me that if someone stole like 130000 bitcoins that mixers and tumblers wouldnt be enough and instead they would have to take it to some jurisdiction where corruption is rampant... what would they mean by this? Mixers and tumblers just wouldnt be enough...

No offense, but it's really starting to become obvious that something has happened in your life that you have a lot of unanswered questions about. If your username correlates with your background/location, shouldn't it be easy to find answers in Telegram groups? A public forum doesn't seem like the most appropriate place for this kind of stuff.

Also, someone who is capable of such an act usually knows how to solve that problem with ease and doesn't worry about it. And it's definitely least of his concerns.

Thank you.

I don’t think that being able to perform advanced hacking at scale automatically means also the ability to use money wisely. In fact, someone skilled enough to do highly specialized technical work probably doesn’t have much time left for other activities and expertise.

Why do you think Telegram groups are better than a public forum for finding the right answers and solutions?

OP is talking about 130000 BTC, a heist of such grandiose size does require some intelligence and preparation, but perhaps I am too optimistic. You never know these days 🤣

And the reason I'm referring to Telegram is that it's a known fact that Russian speakers active in these situations spread/discuss all their information in such groups. Moreover, I don't think it's necessary to draw unnecessary attention to discussing criminal matters on a forum like this. Hypothetically or not, that doesn't matter. It's not just 'the right answer and solutions', it's only very specific questions OP has been asking regarding money laundering.

No matter how much I hate governments, no need to entertain OP in these matters and possibly incriminate ourselves. It was a polite referral.

The greatest advantage of this forum is the absence of censorship. Everyone is free to discuss any topic and to ignore or avoid participating in discussions that don’t interest them. Some of the brightest ideas often start with a seemingly crazy question that may not make sense at first. Placing limitations on discussions doesn’t feel right to me.

Realistically, you can't "steal" 130000 btc nowadays without some sort of violence on a private person.

The more or less public groups were wiped a couple of years ago. Stupid move by the authorities, as popo used to have a good time finding criminals on these groups.

Everyone is free to express his thought. If one is so stupid to self-incriminate, so be it.

OP doesn't have 130000 btc, don't worry 🤣

I'm a big supporter of this approach, and who am I to stop it? I'd be the last to place limitations on conversations. Only, an EUSSR Commisar might approach this differently, not my problem either.

But you're twisting my words and trying to unnecessarily corner me a bit here.

Your original question was:

"Why do you think Telegram groups are better than a public forum for finding the right answers and solutions?"

Simple: Russian speakers are very well-known and skilled in online activities related to crypto and hacking. Illegal or not, it doesn't matter in that respect. Such topics are often discussed in their respective language on Telegram. I have lived in Russia and I'm aware of where these niche related conversations take place. But @JohnnyDoe has just stated they're not as active on there either anymore so forget what I said.

I'm not saying a forum or Telegram is better I'm just trying to point him into the right direction to get appropiate answers to his very specific questions. Just as one would refer to certain lawyers on here.

I didn't say that OP should leave either; on the contrary. I'm intrigued and would love to find out about his interesting ventures. He could buy us a lot of islands with that kind of money and establish JohnnyDoe land.

interestingly, in early cases judges didn’t consider as ā€œtheftā€ the act of taking someone else’s btc. In United States v. Ulbricht (Silk Road, Indictment S3 14 Cr. 68) prosecutors only charged computer hacking, wire fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering.

Anyway, the world would almost certainly know if someone stole 130k btc electronically. Today the real danger of holding crypto is of physical nature.
