That's the Bangkok Bank Head Office. I only needed my⁤ lease contract and a certified copy of my passport by my embassy.

Also, at the⁣ oficce in Siam Paragon mall, a friend opened the account just with the passport buying⁢ some insurance for like 4-5k.

This was my experience a few months ago and one︀ year ago. I do not know if they have changed the requirements since then.

UOB Thailand asks to fill CRS form even for Thai residents, and ask TWO identification‌ from home country (passport + ID or driving license from passport country). They do not‍ accept account opening with pink card.

uob thailand is highly⁠ annoying. The worst bank to open in Thailand. Enormous amount of paperwork.

That's a non-issue if passport and home country ID card list a Thai‍ residential address.

most likely they will report to home country anyway, which‍ should be a non issue.
It fits into the overall picture of how they work⁠ normally.

guys FYI , 10kTHB and a person I know will open you an account in‌ Bangkok Bank.
Passport + another proof of ID (in English, or translated) + TH phone‍ number.

You have to go to Pattaya.
