Everyone knows tadalafil as the “weekend pill” aka Cialis. But it’s not just for bedroom performance.
A PDE5 inhibitor with a long half-life (up to 36 hours), it pulls double duty: lowering blood pressure while making you look fuller in the gym.

How to use it:
  • Daily use: 5–10 mg for steady cardiovascular support.
  • Performance hit: 10–20 mg, 1–2 hours before you need it.
What it delivers:
  • Vasodilation and improved blood flow.
  • Mild blood pressure reduction.
  • Better pumps, better fullness.
  • Relief for BPH symptoms, smoother urinary flow.
  • A safety net for cycle-induced ED.
But it’s not candy:
  • Headaches, flushing, or back pain are common.
  • Do not mix with nitrates or certain BP meds unless you enjoy ER visits.
  • Some people get hooked on the psychological crutch of “confidence-in-a-pill.”
It’s a powerful wellness and harm reduction tool that keeps blood pressure in check, helps with systemic inflammation, and makes you look good doing it.

Widely available in pharmacies (usually without prescription) and online, in 5mg to 20mg tablets, as well as oral jelly format (quicker onset of action as compared to tablets).

Conclusion: L-carnitine combined with tadalafil is safe and effective for the treatment of late-onset hypogonadism (LOH) with erectile dysfunction (ED).

No. The study shows that tadalafil worked exactly in the same way on ED whether it is taken either with L-carnitine or with Tedtosterone undecanoate, in a sample of 110 Chinese men (60 vs 50).
L-carnitine doesn’t cure hypogonadism.
T undecanoate is the worst ester to administer, due to its half life, spikes etc.
Rubbish study.

I don't have ED but I wanted to try tadalafil just to spice things up, I took 10mg in jelly format around 2 hours before action.
It worked just as expected, only side effect I encountered was a clogged up nose which made sleeping way harder for around 2 days.

I will try taking 5mg next time and see if that helps reduce any side effects.

Nasal congestion is a known side effect of tadalafil and other PDE5 inhibitors like sildenafil and vardenafil, reported in clinical trials, with incidence in the low single digits to around 10 percent depending on dose and study.
Your dose was quite low, so I recommend you get evaluated by an ENT doctor as I suspect you have hypertrophic turbinates if they were not temporarily inflamed.
