Startup Mentor for a new business plan

We are an IT company based in the Middle East. The company is trying to establish a new business unit with a foreign company that claims to have the required products and domain knowledge.

It would be helpful for me to know what the best practice is to make this engagement successful for both parties.

This is our first time we are dealing with an overseas company, so I think we need some assistance from an experienced mentor or startup adviser to mediate this deal and draft the contract?

Try to make your agreement as simple as possible, with loose commitments at first, maintain some form of control and keep an exit strategy in place. Good luck !

You defiantly want to get in touch with a lawyer. Not sure if some of the lawyers we have around here at OCT that can help you, they are Cyrus based. But it's a must to get legal help.
