SpaceX holds 18,712 btc.
It has a better business model than Strategy, and has also had a bigger impact than btc to the majority of the people.
I couldn’t live without Starlink, but I probably could live with just xmr.
starlink is a fair point as well as a current impact (when it comes to number of users), but that's going to change
whether to spend 1M USD today on SPCX (at this valution) or BTC is an easy pick, that's all I'm saying, it has nothing to do with whether spacex will do well
I never buy on IPOs due to hype and lock in periods. I got burned on that when I was younger. That said, I’m not sure what the proper valuation for SpaceX is. There is a certain captive market for heavy lift launches that was heretofore met by Russians and government agencies, that is very much available for SpaceX to secure. There is also Starlink which certainly has market share though I’m not sure of the real profitability. There is some voodoo math in their accounting with respect to actual cost. For future growth, there is severe industrial bottlenecks in rocket and missile motor production for military applications which are mostly held by dysfunctional and inefficient legacy defense contractors. Anduril and SpaceX could be very disruptive in this space.
I will watch for a bit. There will likely be some kind of dip in the first year if you want to buy in post-IPO (I will not buy and be wrong about this).
