Some exciting updates to the forum!

Beside the ongoing process to hardening the server and make it faster we have also implemented new features.

Today we can proudly introduce the “Similar Threads” which you can see under every thread's last post as well as when you create new threads.

Another good improvement is the search function at OffshoreCorpTalk ”“ now it's much more accurate and deliver much better search results.

We hope these improvements help you to get a much better experience while you are visiting our forum.

More improvements are coming and will be announce here as they get implemented.

Another update to the SEARCH

When you type in the search bar on the forum‌ you will see suggestions based on what you have typed so far. The terms come‍ from phrases in our index rather than just common words. This means that it should⁠ work well for the OffshoreCorpTalk forum.

This can really help reduce missed searches.

Yesterday evening and today we had two (2) small outages, however, we finally moved to‌ something stable and fast now.

Many of the European users may experience a much faster‍ OffshoreCorpTalk 🙂

We don't expect any further downtime nor do we have planned anything.

New Design is Awesome.

Really like We are in 2021.
Old like‌ version much like in 2010.

Can just Exchange the color ,
Edit Version to Read‍ Version Exchange. Exchange Grey to Black.

grey color is annoying. Better to use Black color.⁠

I like where the forum is going, it's fast etc...

but the posts are a‌ bit hard to read now with the grey text/grey background.

Also when you select something‍ in the post editor (e.g. to copy it) it disappears as it has the same⁠ color of the background smi(&%

@Admin Yeah text is much better now, at least is usable.
It'll take time to‌ get used to the inverted dark/light thing (my eyes still go to the darker areas‍ first ).
I still think I liked it more the other way (dark posts bg⁠ and lighter quote boxes), but maybe it's only that I was used to it...
