For building a smart grid for better power management efficiently and economically, both centralized and decentralized management systems may be helpful. In India, there are lots of different players across the country offering this power grid management service. Where as China has few grid-managing players. Top-down approach of grid management may look easier but may not be successful for offering quality service to consumers with optimal price structure.
