Setting up Irish business as UK and Iriish citizen.

Hi guys,

Is it possible to set up a company in Ireland but live in the UK? I hold both passports but have never lived in Ireland.

If so, would there be any cons to this set up?

If you're doing it for easier access to the EU, then it's worthwhile, but if it's to take advantage of the lower tax rate, the UK will just tax you as if it were a UK company (CFC or PE rules probably apply).
