Anyway, I've seen Bulgaria and Romania mentioned as easy options for EU residency. Register as self-employed and you should probably pay some tax. Don't think anyone will check how much time you're really spending there.
Talk to an accountant - I think you should be able to keep your CY tax residency if you don't spend time in Bulgaria/Romania.
And even if you have to take up tax residency in Bulgaria/Romania, what's the problem if you're making very little money?
