Once you have a passport you can apply for residency in the UK, as a commonwealth country it makes it easier to obtain residency in the UK.

You have to have a job or a business, you are not entitled to state benefits and must be able to prove funds for your up keep.

This can also work similar to the Non Dom situation. Where you can sustain yourself on passive income from abroad but if you undertake business in the UK you are liable for world wide income.

But 2.5 billion people are ”˜Commonwealth Citizens'... so cannot be that easy otherwise many would be in the U.K. right ?
No doubt St Kits is a good passport. But how useful is being part of the commonwealth really if so many are (all of India, Pakistan, even Nigeria are).

St Kitts is an island nation of about 60K. They all can't come and live in the UK.
Also you need at least £50K to show you can take care of yourself. Plus pay the £10K to the government. So that is nearly $100K, how many people in St Kitts earn that kind of money.

As a citizen of St Kitts you can stay in the UK for up to 180 days in a calendar year as a tourist but you can not work in the UK during this period. Any business out of the UK is permitted.

Um, yes, but Vanuatu is a Commonwealth nation too. Yesterday you said there was some difference between St Kitts and Vanuatu.

How much does it Cost St Kitts citizenship please ?

There is many scammers in the passport game, so watch out. And of course if someone can offer you a passport with extreme discounts, then its obviously a scam.

Officials would not help you and would tell you to contact an official designated agent for the process. And the locals working int he CIU offices are quite 'salty' towards to the whole schemes and have heard that they treat foreigners looking to purchase their passports pretty poorly

They can go to prison for interacting with the public. So they are not friendly and all!!

Concerning the second passport programs in the Caribbean, one important thing to keep in mind if you go for the real estate option is that usually there will be huge additional fees in the Caribbean when buying real estate.

Not to mention that real estate prices will be artificially inflated by the government and restricted to a small number of developments. The price will not reflect free market prices. Only someone else who wants a CBI citizenship will be willing to buy your property in the future. There is a reason that the contribution methods of CBI citizenship are far more popular than the real estate methods.
