Russia has no issues with recruitment.
Europe or NATO, on the other hand, has no single army that poses a significant threat. Turkey maybe. Ukraine was once the largest and one of the best, but that's no longer the case. But the others are paper tigers. Britain has︀ some good troops, and the SAS/SBS are awesome, having caused Russia plenty of problems with︁ their little operations. But there are not enough troops. The USA fighting a ground war︂ in Europe isn't going to happen.
