zero russophobia. I was just born in Lithuania so I know Russia a little better than most other non-Russians. I have been also traveling to Russia before. I know what the rest of the countryside looks like. That's just a plain fact, no hate.

So many areas of Lithuania are like Russian countryside, the only difference being that people must survive European prices with Soviet salaries/pensions.

I don't know about Lithuania, but Russophobic news from neighboring Latvia are terrifying. Like the recent law that strips Latvian citizenship to those who are not aligned with the Russia=evil main narrative.

If not mistaken, Lithuanian GDP per capita is 2x of Russian. In best case scenario, your statement is a stretch. Russian standard is along the lines of Bulgaria. Romanian GDP per capita is around 15% higher than Russian and it's among the lowest developed countries in EU.
