It was never internal conflict with‍ shelling.
2014 it's a russian invasion to Crimea and Donbas.
If you think that it was internal conflict - its a only lack of your knowledge about situation.

Sorry but its clearly the zelensky fraction who choosed war.
In 2019 the zelensky adviosor‌ clearly said joining the NATO will cause by 99.9% a war with Russia.
So they‍ were fully aware of that war when trying to join Nato.
Zelensky had 2 choices
1.Try to join Nato causing a war were europe may be involved and try keeping⁤ its power
2.Be neutral cause no war and be more influenced by russia

They choosed⁣ #1.

BS
US tried with︁ the help of ukrainian facist to take control of crimea because its the HQ for︂ russian marina.
Would putin lose it he would lose dominance of his marina there which︃ would have caused losing support of russian military.
So stop spreading your BS as it︄ looks more and more like you are a psyop

Self denial‌ at its finest.

It's so sad to see peoples emotions cloud their view of a‍ situation. If the war is getting to people please take a break from watching media coverage. Your mental health will thank you thu&¤#. There is no point letting media coverage⁤ radicalize you or make you one way or the other and become an emotional, angry⁣ and twisted wreck. Again there are no winners in this conflict. The damage is done⁢ and is only getting worse.

Stay safe all.

By Banning amazon , what do USA achieve?
It does more harm than good.
Modern Global financial system is way differently works than in WW2.
USA using WW2 strategy to‌ win the war.

If amazon stop business in Russia, It only helps Russia , It‍ create more friendly environment for Russia base cloud company. As there is no International competition with huge wallet USA Tech giant.
Remember when google, twitter, facebook stop business in china⁤ (May be china show them a door ).
Who benefit the most ? China or⁣ Russia?
Rise of baidu, weibo and another local social media and most of the companies succeed.⁢

I find most funny cases are Starbucks and McDonald's, as they stop business in russia.︀
How they Just the move the store to USA???? 😛😛😛😛
Local partner of "Starbucks and McDonald's"︁ just rename the store and stop paying the royalties to USA😛😛😛😛
They run burger and︂ coffee business as usual.
Who is winning and who is losing here ???

Koch Industries︃ staying in Russia, says leaving would ‘do more harm than good’
https://nypost.com/2022/03/17/koch-...ia-says-leaving-would-do-more-harm-than-good/
Nobody know what︄ is it the ground reality of the war?
Everybody telling their own stories.
And most︅ important question is "What is in the Putin's mind??"

My analysis 😎😎😎😎 is there is something︆ big in Putin's mind. Some kind of grand plan.
Whatever the media shown to us,︇ there is no way that Ukraine withstand 22 days against the Mighty Russian force. Make︈ no mistake They will crush them in hours. Russia is second most weapon/arm exporter in︉ the world.
There is something going to happen that will change the world forever.

Hope for the best.
Feel Sorry for people of Ukraine

Thanks

Make no mistake, russia already failed to crush Ukraine in a hours. Because its literally can't invade⁤ such big country in a few hours. Its a not small Moldova or Georgia. Its⁣ a pure fact.
Why it should finish invade in a hours? Military power that russia⁢ use in war around 200k soldiers, something similar had Ukraine in defence at beginning of︀ war. It's a even parity on ground forces.

If it could be - russia would︁ just finish invasion quickly, avoid civil and infrastructure killing and avoid number of sanctions.
It's a direct interest of russia to finish war asap.
Fast, big invasion are best result︂ for most of all: russia, Ukraine, EU. Except US for sure.
Single theoretical way to︃ do fast win in such war - use nuclear weapon, which will just lead to︄ WW3, but not to russian victory.

Time will tell Who is making mistake??

“Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming⁤ naked.”

Regarding AWS, Russia will lose and China will gain because Russians are forced to migrate︌ to platforms like Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, from what it seems, not really.

They only‍ apply to Russian companies but their big Russian clients are headquartered or incorporated outside Russia. Plus they have no datacenters or infrastructure there so.

I'm also not sure how big⁤ the market share the big 3 clouds have in Russia atm.

All I know is⁣ that, if you are an unfortunate client who got caught up in this, you will⁢ have a real bad time migrating everything over to Chinese cloud providers.

Ok. I thought you did a typo and meant that US service providers like⁢ AWS will lose and China will gain market share and not that Russia will lose︀ and China will gain which seemed odd.

Bottom line is the boycott or sanctions will︁ just make Russia more self sufficient in technology sphere long term.

Not 100% sure about Russia but lets say in my country if AWS exited, it would be devastating⁤ for the tech industry. A huge % of companies rely on AWS for their infrastructure.⁣ But then again, things are different in Russia, but I haven't heard of any big⁢ cloud companies being there like China has with Tencent & Alibaba etc.
Perhaps, but at what cost? I don't think︂ this Ukraine play has benefited Russia so far.

Russia is thanks to the big amount of sanctions⁢ very self suffcient.
There was a nice reportage about discounts in western countries and in︀ russia.
Result was all products which western discounts had were also avaibable in russian discount︁ via domestic products.
The products itself had the same quality or better than western products︂ using mostly german tech in russia.
The big benefit from russian discounts were that it︃ was 50% cheaper than in western countries.
So russia is not dependable on western countries︄ it changed over the last 20 years into a self suffcient region.
Even big german︅ car manufacturers went with their tech to russia

It has literally cost them all their relationships in‍ west as well as internal turmoil. But they have literally been gifted a blank sheet to start over and they have a cushion being relationship with China. This will not⁤ happen overnight however but like Iran you adapt to the new reality.

The west needs⁣ to hope these sanctions and collective actions break Russia otherwise if Russia is able to⁢ weather the storm then there is zero the west can tell Russia. We will enter︀ a new dawn. One western media thinks the below..l.ol:

U.S. tech dominance could offer leverage︁ over Russia , or backfire

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/03/03/us-russia-technology-dependence/
----

Withholding technology can be a soft-power weapon to︂ potentially turn a population against its leaders. Yet it also can be costly to the︃ U.S. economy, slow to deliver results and scattershot in its effects , much more likely︄ to affect ordinary Russians using their iPhones than generals firing missiles into Ukrainian cities.

There is another cost, as well. The United States’ dominance of global technology, experts warn, was︅ built over generations but could be eroded in just a few years as rival powers︆ , and especially Russia and China , invest billions of dollars to develop alternative technologies︇ at home, in part to decrease U.S. leverage at moments such as these.

Even as︈ Russians furiously buy iPads, Android devices and Windows-based computers, President Vladimir Putin is pushing hard︉ to wean the country from Western technologies. And if Russia and other U.S. rivals succeed,︊ there also could be long-term damage to the ability of American intelligence agencies , particularly︋ skilled in exploiting U.S.-made tech , to track developments in the next conflict, experts say︌.

Haha being banned from coca cola, facebook, instagram, mcdonalds can turn out to be beneficial‌ for russian nation health
But some sanctions indeed must have caused a lot of damage,‍ not to mention frozen funds, inflation etc, some left more room for domestic business
I wonder what russians think about ongoing situation, does anyone have any insights from non aligned sources?
Economical damage will be felt but on the other hand all the sanctions including⁤ ones that can be considered xenophobic must have caused aversion towards the west
