Im looking for a European lawyer with deep knowledge of sanction compliance in European and Russian business theese days. Please contact me if this feels relevant.

What are you trying to accomplish in Norway? It is not part of the EU, but still in the same circus. Unless it's really big money involved, you are unlikely to find any support for now.

I think he is⁠ form there acording to the title. I am not sure why he is asking for⁤ a European lawyer either. Would definitely not recommend, better get somebody in Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc.⁣ where they are not subject to santions for helping him.

How much do you want to move.There are multiple solutions tell⁤ us more about your situation only then people can advise.If you cant get around the⁣ obstacle ( sanction compliance) either look to jump over it or dig under it and⁢ get to the other side.

I am not moving any money at the moment. I hold investments in Russia and‌ i am a Norwegian citizen and businessowner/investor living in Norway,
I want my invenstments to‍ be compliant and I have a hard time feeling comfortable about this at the moment.⁠ Norwegian lawfirms lack competance here, thats why i post here. Any tip is appreachiated.

I think Norwegian from what he wrote. But as far as I know, there‍ are some Swiss lawyers that could help.

If you're from Norway and currently living there, I would definitely recommend finding a Norwegian‌ lawyer to assist you with this. Otherwise, if you want complete certainty, you may need‍ to leave the country. Based on what you’re saying, you’re already aware that your investment⁠ in Russian securities is problematic, and you could face issues no matter where you move,⁤ unless it's to Russia or there are significant changes due to Trump's and Putin's ongoing⁣ discussions.

I would suggest doing some thorough research on Google to find Norwegian lawyers, checking⁢ their case history, what they’ve been involved in, and most importantly, their references.

I agree︀ that there are plenty of useless lawyers, but there are a few who actually do︁ their job properly from time to time.

Nobody else is speaking that it was clear apart from you that it was clear to‍ them ( i do not have psychic gifts like you yet) and thats why OP⁠ specifically mentions it later that he doesn't want to move money now. Read his post⁤ here again.Not all problems can be solved by scammy rug pulling either.

But you said they couldn't help you?
I don't really see how lawyers from any other country should be able to help here.‍

Maybe for OP i think its better to move out and move his money out‌ instead of trying to fight a losing battle.
