I used to be employed by that free zone for many years and Fred knows me too. It is a free zone that works B2B, meaning that you need to go through one of the partners of the free zone.
Nevertheless, it is the best free zone. So as long as the agency of your choosing recommends IFZA and doesn’t charge you a crazy amount, you’re safe.

If you are a former DLS Dubai Client you should be able to work at this point directly with IFZA especially as most DLS Dubai Employees go transfered to IFZA already.

When you visa expires, you just have to go and do the medical and apply for a new emirates ID, then send the documents to your free zone and pay for the new visa.
Please note that your new visa will be for 2 years since the validity changed from October 2022.

I would suggest to be in country at the expiry time and start the procedure once it’s expired. Also you need to be in touch with the free zone if you incorporated through DLS since they are the once renewing your residency once you to your medical and apply for the EID. If your free zone is IFZA, just email [email protected] and they will assist you
