I got a refund check from the U.S - IRS.

Is there a 100% online way to exchange this check?

If possible I would like an EMI that would accept the check to add funds.

Or convert it to cryptocurrency...

I don't have a bank account in the U.S. so it's being a little difficult.

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me.

I'm not an US person and I don't live in the‍ USA.

But I have an LLC - Delaware. Regarding the last tax year, I believe they used the information from the Form 1040-NR...

Ok so it is a corporate tax refund check or something made out to your‌ company and not a personal check made out to you?

Sorry but US system is‍ not my area of knowledge.

The check is in my name.

It's probably related to the Form 1040-NR (personal tax paid by foreign members⁤ of US companies).

I believe it can be considered a check made out to refund⁣ me, it would not be on a corporate level.

Most banks allow you to sign, scan and upload copies of check to your US‌ account.

I think daxbr is right. Cashing international checks at local walk in bank should not‌ be an issue. Although they may get scared when they see the check is an‍ IRS check made out to your name. Bank will just think your a US person and lied to them and will immediately close your account period.

If you want certainty⁤ you can travel to America go into a Walmart and cash it out if its⁣ under 5k I believe smi(&%.

Shouldn't be any problem cashing a tax refund check from the IRS with any major‌ bank. It can take a few weeks to clear and a decent chunk will be‍ lost in fees and currency conversion (unless you hold USD with your bank).

AFAIK, most EMIs don't have the ability to cash checks.

This would be difficult because it would open up a good 'ol route used by‌ people running from their wife... 1. overpay us$10-20k in taxes six months before you know‍ the papers are going to land 2. s**t comes out. you pay some small amount to your wife 3. one year later you reclaim the overpaid taxes and your wife⁤ cannot take it from you because irs refunds are exempt... so if this payment could⁣ be made to an EMI it will be even harder for her to find out...⁢ I don't think this will work... but maybe...?

lol...thats creative.︀ But on a side note thats not as creative as wealthy business people going into︁ public office in US just to use a loophole to avoid tax from what I︂ heard ns2.

You know Goldman Sachs and oil execs etc have huge stock holdings in︃ the public companies they run. All these unrealized profits someone worth hundreds of millions would︄ be taxed on the gains if they tried to sell them. However under US law︅ if you run for public office you must sell your share holdings you have in︆ these publicly traded companies to avoid conflict of interest. However because you are forced to︇ sell the shares the gains are made TAX FREE....lol. So if your friends with Trump︈ you can ask him to give you a job in government and you get to︉ sell your shares tax free. A little while later you ask him to fire you︊ and away you go having converted all your investments into cash tax free smi(&%.

I wonder if anyone knows more about this scam or its just for the insiders.....but anyway︋ I digress from subject.

People know it︆ but it's not so useful for internet trader types. I think on this forum, if︇ you allowed it, we should discuss things like manufacturing income for credit lines and VAT︈ carousels... but it depends on how you look at things 🙂 🙂
