It's always a good pastime to expose scammers.
Frankly, I wouldn’t even waste a thought on OffshoreCorpTalk if @JohnLocke had just refunded my "lifetime" membership and closed it there. I gave him the chance. Instead he chose to scam me, he violated my privacy and started a smear campaign.
Maybe one day he will understand he made a mistake.
At the same time he gave me the inspiration for this forum. I always wanted something like the old usenet boards, with no moderation and low noise.
I mentioned in another thread an Indian guy tried to scam, threatened me and played the victim role but found he is playing with the wrong man, no mercy 😂 I told him don't discuss with a tiger when your head is inside his mouth 😉

Got it, I agree. Scammers are usually so dumb they think they're smarter than everyone else, so things can easily turn into a fight...
You’re right, I totally get what you’re saying.
Sure, I’m the most peaceful guy on earth, live and let live... but if someone scams me, there’s no place in this world for them to hide...
Trust me, I never forget.
Honestly, if I had to choose, I’d take a thief over a scammer any day of the week. At least a thief usually sneaks in when you’re not looking. A scammer mocks your good faith. And that’s just not something I tolerate in my book.
Hell, I once tracked down a scammer all the way to India and didn’t rest until I saw him literally shitting bricks, as they say... didn’t even have to go there.

edit: lol @CEO we pretty much had the same experience with Indians it seems, we wrote the same thing at the same time 🙂

As a person with principles especially living in Europe I don't use bad words but with this man I can say Indians no exceptions 90% of them are a piece of crap and sh*t VIP level.

Reactions: Columbus and CEO
And still Indians are amateurs compared to Ukrainians.
Fortunately, scam centers are now becoming targets for Gerans: Geran Drones Hit Suspected Scam Call Center in Dnepropetrovsk
Indians, Nigerians have the 9 grade black belt 😂
I like these guys:

Let's precise something: a scam is any scheme designed to cheat someone out of money, trust, or resources. It could be online phishing, fake investment opportunities, or your neighbor selling “authentic” Rolexes made in Guangzhou.

A con (short for “confidence trick”) is a specific type of scam. It relies on building trust first and then using that to hit the victim. Think Ponzi schemes, romance scams, or the classic “Nigerian prince” letter, all instances where the victim’s own greed is the hook. It's the promise of something for nothing, where the victim gets nothing for something.
You can't con a honest man.

Then there’s the more insidious type: scams that target the clueless but honest. People who weren’t chasing shortcuts, who just lacked the context to recognize the trick. They weren’t lured by greed but blindsided by trust.
