Recommendations to top up EMI with offshore card

Hi all, I wanted to ask if topping up an EMI account with an offshore card is something you would recommend, and if so, is there any limits/practices that are advisable?

For what reason do you ask this question? For privacy, CRS or cost reasons etc, please explain?

Mostly because of privacy and CRS

Well it depends if EMI reports under CRS? Secondly you need to check where the card is really issued. A lot of these offshore provider use UK or Gibraltar issued cards that don't really offer any privacy.
