When you hire as head of design a guy that designed smartphones... that's what you get!
I bet they are targeting new (tasteless) rich customers... the tech ones, the weirdos in silicon valley...
I heard journos/influencers can't talk bad about it or they'll get their pass revoked 🤣
In the launch pictures it seemed slightly better too (if possible).

Instant torque, high performance, great efficiency, little maintenance, few moving parts, no central tunnel… they have many nice features.
The internal combustion engine is romantic but obsolete. Albeit still useful as a range extender while charging time is being improved.
I'm genuinely sad about this, and I mean that. I had a weakness for Ferrari but this just looks like a Playmobil car. I hope they can move on from this mistake and realize this is not it. They should learn from Jaguar by not making the same mistakes
Once they improve battery lifespan and charging time, electric cars will be a serious contender for the reasons above. They are already superior in some situations where the disadvantages can be minimized.
