I have an N26 bank business account, and this morning I've received an e-mail that they've requested for my tax ID. Since Covid, I've started an online business which I haven't been legally registered for. What will happen next? If I don't file in the tax ID, is it going to be alarming? If I close the account, will that ring any bells with the CRS?
I use the N26 to cover my business expenses, and all the income stays on PayPal. Does PayPal report to CRS in Europe? Would it be smart to have an off-shore bank account where I should deposit all the money? Or possibly convert it to crypto currency?
