in 2022 I opened an account with ING online, took less than 15 minutes. They had video verification and needed a local mobile phone number, that's it. After I relocated to another country outside of the EU they simply just changed the details and the account is still fine.

Well, really nice to read. The ~2 stories that I have heard spoke about bureaucratic onboarding nightmare but it is true that it concerned business accounts, not personal ones; and honestly, I do not know much about these businesses (definitely nothing shady but I possess no details). I have only one personal experience with ING; it was, regrettably, similar ”“ yet it concerned not onboarding but a payment transaction, also B2B.
I might try Polish ING sometimes in the future

🙂 It is not a story of mine but of one of my former business partners: he is interested in glass; and Czech glassworks in 19th-20th century (today, probably, too) really made a lot of nice masterpieces. I have seen some photos and it was really interesting.
