You can try Banco Atlantico. It's the only bank I can recall in Portugal that does remote account opening under normal circumstances for foreigners without an intermediary.

In Portugal it is hard to do anything remote. I believe in theory it is possible with a PoA. In practice I'm not so confident. I looked into it a few years ago. It's much easier to just go in-person and open an account though. Usually you need to prove ties to Portugal.
Regardless of whether you open it remotely or not, the first thing you'll need is a NIF. This can be obtained remotely but if you don't have an EU address then you'll need to get somebody to be your fiscal representative indefinitely (or until you decide to become a Portuguese tax resident).︀
