Hello everyone,

I'm going to live 183+ days in UAE, but I really don't like to rent an apartment for the whole year. As I see it's a must. Maybe it's possible to avoid that rule somehow and still be able to get personal tax residence (while living 183+ days and having Emirates ID, but without renting the whole year)?

You can get a 1 year contract with a 6 month break clause. They are‌ a bit more expensive because the landlords know what you are doing.

There is always the possibility to rent something in Sharjah for 10kAED/year and while you‌ are in the UAE you live in Hotel Apartments / AirBnb etc.

Not a bad price.. Does that give you also a utility in your‍ name?

Add an additional £100 a month for utility if you are not staying there.

Has anyone tried this? Cheap rental + utilities to get the ejari and because tax‌ resident in the uae?

that's only 200dollars/month. wow cheap.

yes. same i was mentioned about Portugal in my others posts. you can buy a house for 3000$, and live there if you⁤ want to cut costs to zero, if no , rent a more expensive one .⁣
i work as a freelancer, and after i given age i don't need the city,⁢ a nice hoouse in the countryside will do best. it's not like Detroit in most︀ places, it's very safe.
