So at N26 and Revolut they don't want utility bill or bank statement with my address?

No proof of address required

The fibbing will take place when you'll be asked for an address. You'll need to provide an EU address and then have the card forwarded to you from there (or simply be at an EU address for a few days until the card arrives).

Is it mandatory to hire an introducer/attorney and use POA to remote open in the first 3 banks or can be done directly with the institution?

Tera Bank wrote me Remotely opening accounts is not possible. I think the situation with other Georgian banks is the same. Maybe Mrau right and you can open remotely using POA for Georgian introducer/lawyer.

Hello Nyep,

Does Revolut ask for proof of residence or are they content with only a UK / EEA address? Thanks in advance!

Are their websites in English as well or do I have to take a course to learn Serbian first?

Will I need to pass some video-verification using App or not?

N26 will need a video call to ID you (done by a 3rd party identification service). No questions will be asked about your residence during the video call though, it's strictly ID verification.

Revolut only asks for photos.

Obvious note, in case the obvious isn't obvious:
The normal onboarding procedure for both of these banks doesn't involve requesting any proof of address. HOWEVER, they *CAN* technically ask you for proof of address if they suspect something is fishy.

NO! Never use a bank which doesn't have a website in a language you don't understand. The idea to open a bank account remotely already seems a bit crazy to me, but the idea to use a bank which doesn't even have an English website is definitely totally crazy. I'm banking in MNE and I've had problems which should have been fixed in 5 minutes taking 5 days because of poor communication, so don't take risks. The lack of an English website also tells that the bank doesn't have many foreign clients...
