Hi!

Could someone please advise a good tax lawyer/accountant that is specialized in Paraguay's tax laws? Has to be physically based in Paraguay as well. Not migration/residence permit specialization, specifically TAX law.
Could be a company or 1 person if you used his/her services and were happy.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I received my‌ Paraguay residency card in 2013 or 2014 ? I never went back there or reside‍ there? Does it expire? Just trying to find out.

have some questions regarding‌ tax laws in Paraguay, that could be answered only by the person who specializes in‍ it. Do you have some local contacts?

You should visit every 3 years to keep it active. Your residency is likely cancelled.

In your position, I would contact a more prominent law firm that specializes in more countries in Latin America, like FERRERE, for example. They likely have good local connections.

Oh thanks for the advice. That means I have to restart the whole process again.‌

They are super friendly and helpful. Had a‍ long discussion with them about the residency and potential business ventures in Paraguay. Have not yet made may way to South America since they joined OCT to meet them in⁤ person.

It is very likely. However, they are not consistently enforcing the 3-year rule, so it is not 100% that your residency will be canceled. Since you missed the 3-year rule three times, I would say 80-90%.
If you want, you can reach out to me in the DM. Maybe I can figure out your status in Paraguay.

Most likely, it will be cancelled, and you will have to go through the residency process again if you want to drop me a DM with the number of your cedula and name. I will try to check.

I met many people there who told me they are living over there for 20 plus years⁤ without a citizenship and they had running businesses there. Especially from city of Cuidad del⁣ Este.

What does citizenship have to do with residency?
