Hi guys,

New to the forum, and its great! its interesting to learn about business in many fields. Re: the poll?

doesn't the agent who formed the corporation in Seychelles have to maintain records as to who the owners of the shares of the corporation are including transfers and their address as well?

Say your being sued, and suing lawyer makes up some charge to get your account frozen 😢

True but there are some mechanism to prevent this to happen(will not go into details with this) also that a creditor, lawyer or debt collector has obtained a court judgment against the company (or your joint account holder, if you have a joint bank account) in the local country this must as well be obtained in the Seychelles with is very costly and not easy to obtain!

At least it is one of the few offshore jurisdictions that didn't signed any TIEAs with the exemption of the Netherlands.

I'm in process to open Seychelles company waiting for them to get my company number now.

I'm still considering what may be the best Seychelles or Cyprus... will lurk a little more around herea and then take action.

I heard only good things about the BVI why does no one want to discuss them? I look to incorporate company in the BVI.

The forum owners pointed me to this link invalid1c/forum/blogs/admin/121-why-seychelles.html I'm astonished why not more open company in the Seychelles!

Isn't it a matter of time before international pressure will force Seychelles to relinquish some of its status. What I mean is as Seychelles becomes more prosperous, the pressure will grow to sign more tax agreements and so on. As Seychelles grows wealthier, they will not need to all this secrecy. Therefore companies already set up will find themselves high and dry. Because of Global difficulties, this kind of tightening on tax haven is happening more quickly. The international community is much more cohesive force than it ever was before. If the U.S. and E.U. ganged up on Seychelles, I bet they would bow down very quickly to whatever they want.

Whereas if one pays tax in a country like Cyprus, legally, but a low rate, Cyprus is already legitimate in the eyes of the international community. Also the Seychelles geographical location is a disadvantage. As far as I know they [the Seychelles] are introducing more legislation. It seems that the tide has not turned yet, but it may be only a matter of time.

Seychelles company because it is the cheapest and fastest I got quoted for only €550

The fee you mentioned is only the basic setup right you didn't got a bank account and nominees for that fee right?

If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability!
My personal favorite thread posted in the Mentor Group. Group of investment companies to avoid licensing.
